While this is without a doubt the busiest season of the year for everyone, it's also now a record-setting month of blogs posted since I've relocated to Tennessee. What do I have to thank for my more frequent appearances here? That lovely 25-minute time-harnesser called the Pomodoro Technique that Alyssa shared with us on the very first day of December. It's helped me with work, workouts, blogging, reading, Christmas-ing and cleaning. Has it helped you with any of your daily must-do's?
While you're pondering what can be improved in your life by segmenting it into chewable 25-minute increments, take four minutes to be amused by this week's confessions about nothing.
:: "Confessions about nothing"? Well, we've been filling up our DVR with the TBS reruns of Seinfeld and have been binge-watching this "show about nothing" for a month. There's still over 140 episodes remaining on our watchlist. Meanwhile, we're left unable to record anything else but with a reward at the end. Now I can finally play the Seinfeld trivia game that's collecting dust in our coat closet.
:: Southern confession. I don't exactly understand these wildly adorned Christmas trees and can't say that I'll ever decorate a tree like they do down here. If you're unfamiliar, they look like this and not like the trees I've grown up with my whole life. Some even have woodland creatures peeking out from the... branches... ribbons...? I don't know.

:: Monday I pinned this to my Wedding board and freaked. There's no ring nor wedding bells in sight, but as a girl who pins things for future events including weddings and children I've made it a secret board to avoid any social media fueled speculations about either aforementioned life-event.
:: Instagram unfollowers, I see you. Does anyone else have an app that tracks your unfollowers? It was a long-time mystery to me when the followers category would fluctuate, but now I see that it's those Portland fitness studios who don't see my face anymore and those obvious spammers that were never a real account anyway. But, it does make me a little sad when I see that my own extended family dropped my name off their list after scrolling by a cute puppy photo. sigh.
Have any confessions for us this week?

The Southern decorated trees are seriously nuts! Haha. I don't think I could ever have the patience to do them up like that.
Secret Pinterest boards are fun to pin everything to ;) I did that when we found out about Baby A but finally opened up the board after we announced that we were expecting and the gender!
That tree is crazy! I could never get it together enough for that.
I love Seinfeld, I watch it everyday when I get home from work!! Have you seen the episode where they get lost in the parking garage? That one is my all time fav. People that decorate their Christmas tree like that have too much time and money!
We never had ribbons on our tree so when blogging showed me the southern tree decor I was completely confused. I mean, they are gorgeous just not what I grew up with.
That tree is a little nuts, but I think it's gorgeous too... I mean I could never decorate it like that, but it's nice to look at. That's too funny about all your Seinfeld episodes. I've never really gotten into the show but I think if I did have them all, I'd watch them. Binging for the win!
Not a chance I could do all that on my Christmas tree, they are pretty but its too much. My boyfriend loves Seinfeld he is trying to get me on watching it over break.
My charlie brown tree feels very bad about itself now...

Wow, whoever decorated that tree is super dedicated. I don't have an unfollower app for Instagram but I always have those boutiques and IT works wrap people add me and if I don't follow them they instantly delete me. I don't even bother accepting anymore.
When I'm in Hulu mode and realize that none of my shows have any new episodes, I immediately gravitate to Seinfeld...not that there's anything wrong with that ! And as a damn yankee, I agree with the trees. Do they just buy them like that ?
YAY, I'm so happy Pomodoro is helping you be your incredible, productive best :)
Seinfeld trivia! I want to play. PS, plan for when we meet up in 2016: we must find a pub trivia night to attend. I have a feeling we'd be unbeatable.
If it's any consolation, I will never unfollow your instagram. I'm here forever ;)
xoxo
the Pomodoro has helped me at work, kind of. i don't think i follow it exactly, but i used to get a bit stressed at my long to do list and various things that mustbedonerightnow so now i just focus on one thing at a time (or lots of the same one thing, like filing or emails or phone calls) and then i move on when i start to burn out, whether that is 20 minutes or 40 minutes (or sometimes 5 lol) which is better than what i used to do, which was try to do it all at once or all over the place.
anyway.
i don't understand that tree.
i have secret boards. what if when the time comes for whatever (babies etc) i can't find the thing i wanted to remember? that is what pinterest is for!
i have one of those apps. i don't really care who unfollows me, it's normally random websites trying to get 'customers' or random weird people, but i only care when it is someone i follow because then i'm like hey, i thought we were friends. rude. but rude about your family, that sucks :(
the only Seinfeld episode i remember is the soup nazi haha
I confess that I love the theory of Pomodoro but I have yet to put it in to practice for myself. But obviously I need to. Badly!!!
Hahahahhaa the southern tree. Some things you will never understand down here. My tree certainly does not look like that!
I haven't read that post, but I do things in increments too. As in right now, I have 10 more minutes left that I can spend trolling the internet. Ha! I try not to stress insta which is probably why I don't have a ton of followers but that stinks that a family member unfriended you

I watch Seinfeld every. single. day. No joke. We already have the series on DVD, too. I can't get enough, dammit!
I'm from Texas and the trees I've always loved and still have are miss-matched and cluttered and a hodge podge of ornaments. It is not styled for pinterest or instagram by any means. It's my tree. It makes me happy. Now...my good ol' East Texas aunt...she's got a tree in every room. Each one is themed. Each one looks a lot like the one you have pictured.
There is a tree under all of those decorations? All of a sudden my tree looks very sparse ha ha! That is so interesting that Christmas trees are decorated so differently down there! Also, I had no idea that you could find out who unfollowed you on Insta.
as crazy as it sounds, i was never a seinfeld fan...there were 2 or 3 episodes that were funny (master of your domain, soup nazi and the one where he wore his uncle's glasses) but the rest were meh.
