Today's going to be short and sweet because I learned a lot this weekend and I want to make sure you absorb it all. I'm also a little short today because I procrastinated on blog writing all weekend and can't stay up past my bedtime to do any better. It's a busy work week and I won't be celebrating Cinco de Mayo because I'm a responsible adult or at least I pretend to be.
+ I learned that all of my Facebook friends are Blazer fans.
+ I learned to never trust Slingbox because it cut out on the last 5 minutes of Friday's Game 6. I missed the buzzer-beater shot that sent the Portland Trailblazers into Round 2 of the playoffs for the first time in 14 years.
+ Names of derby horses can only be 18 characters long (includes spaces and punctuation)
+ I need a bigger mirror and non-yellow hallway lighting (mom/dad?)
+ Taking a photography class does not make me a photographer. (Hey look, there's Brooke!)
+ I learned that it's never too late to give or receive a Christmas gift - especially one this cute.
Alright, that's enough for me from this weekend - are you linking up with Katie today?
Happy Cinco de Mayo!

haha girl I watch every playoff game (although my team isn't in it)so I saw the buzzer beater ... Kobe used to do that all the time. I'm a Carmelo fan so my team is the Knicks.
Also the dress is gorg but I kinda get what you mean by 1940's. I'm funny with dresses that reach to my knee. You totes rock it though!
That awesome you find that dress in your closet. I learn I still can have a lazy weekend and still get 5 miles in of walking in.
that panda mug is amazing! and super cute dress, glad you finally wore it :)
That dress is beyond amazing and you look fabulous while wearing it.

Hey, how come we aren't Facebook friends? Ha ha ;D
I think all registered horse names can't be more than 18 letters long, if I remember right.
You totally rocked that dress! It looks amazing on you!
Your photos turned out cute!!
I love that dress! It's beautiful!
Yeah, I think the Blazers broke my Facebook feed on Friday. Those shots you got of the workshop look great!
So I was a little sad about that game bc I have so much Houston pride buuuuuut it's fine, we can still be friends! I think your photos look awesome! If I'm still blogging by Christmas, I think I will ask Santa for a DSLR.
That dress is perfect! I love finding gems like that! I learned this weekend that children suck all the time out of your life and you don't get a chance to write any blog posts for the week....yeah that happened lol
I want to take a photography class with you guysssss
Love that dress!!!
That dress is super cute!! We have a big mirror in our new house- but it's not nearly big enough to take an outfit pic...AND it's in like the darkest part of the house. Lame.
My husband is from Portland, so he was pretty happy with that game. I'm from Indy, so I'm glad the Pacers went to the second round, too. Win, win!
Love that dress! I'm the same way with the mirror situation.. awkward angle and bad lighting!
That dress is so cute! I love all things vintage, and it really does look great on you!
i learn a lot of my friends are sports fans only after their "team" makes it into the play-offs, haha fair weather fans
You are rockin' that dress, girlfriend. And that Panda Mug. OMG, NEEEEEEED.
You didn't see the last minutes of the game!?!?!?!?!? Ack!
