Save the Daylight

Public Service Announcement:

It's time to "Spring Forward" this weekend (unless you live in Arizona or Hawaii?) and I'm beyond excited about it. This is the time of year where I'll sacrifice a dark drive in the morning for an opportunity to feel like I can stay out a little later at night without instinctively thinking it's bedtime.

This weekend I'm hanging out with puppies and getting some rest after a long work week. And continuing to roll through House of Cards because that's apparently all the rage around these parts!!

Before we jump straight to weekend plans, let's not forget to recap my week in Gif format - because I know that gifs are the only real reason you come back here every day, right?

Monday:

Yep, drank too much Monday night when I went to the Blazer game and a bar after to drown my sorrows in a loss to the Lakers. Had 4 drinks compared to my 2 drink weeknight maximum.

Tuesday:

The first week of the month is always exhausting. I was in bed Tuesday night by 7pm and wish that I would have been shut-eye by then too. Damn you buzzfeed.

Wednesday:

Heck yes, time to present what I've been working on all week and I nailed it. I'm always smug about this glorifying part of my career.

Thursday:

Took advantage of a less busy day and fit in my first Zumba dance class. I've done hip-hop classes and zumba was a little more awkward for the hip-hopper in me. Thank goodness I have a meeting conflict with this class all but one day of the month!

Friday:

Happy happy, hoppy hoppy! Spring Forward for all!

(This dog is amazing and this group puts on an amazing halftime show at NBA games)

Love your weekend, friends!! You've deserved it!

Weekends are my JAM!

I love you were in bed by 7pm on Tuesday and I'm also slightly jealous.

I've still never tried a zumba class and I really want to, but I feel like it'll be a little awkward for me too. Have a great weekend!

Love the GIFs you selected this week. Very nice work. I am very happy you are weekending with puppies- hoping to see many snaps (wait, why don't I get snapchats?!) and videos of their shenanigans.

Yessss Stephanie Tanner! I wanted to learn the moves to all of her dances when I was a kid. There was that one and another I think where her costume was green. I was a little obsessed...

Also, I hate zumba, ick! It just feels weird.

I'm excited for the longer days but kind of dreading it too since I'm an AM workouter (that is now a word). So getting up at 4am will be like getting up at 3am...? That sounds awful. I'm hoping I'll adjust quickly!

You don't like Zumba??? That makes my heart so sad :( :(

On another note, I can't get over that last gif. It makes me laugh and I don't know why.

I'm right there with you on loooving daylight savings time! It gets dark here at 4:45pm all winter long so ANY extra sun at night is appreciated!
